We are using Scorbot to manage the tournament so you will receive a text message with links to your schedule. We have done our best to accommodate all previously noted scheduling requests and are unable to accommodate any additional requests. Once the schedule is posted, we will NOT change it for any reason. Thank you for your understanding.
To receive a text on your cell phone with game results and next game information:
- Text your Team ID Number to 234-542-6343
- Your Team ID Number is located on the game schedule next to your team name.
- You will receive texts with your team’s scores and next game information upon completion of every game.
There is an admission charge to each facility.
Adult: $12.00 day pass or $20.00 weekend pass.
Children: 10 years & under FREE
*Weekend Pass is good at any site.
**If you purchase a weekend pass you must keep the bracelet on all weekend. There will be no placing bands on purse or in your hand. Must be worn at all times on wrist. We are not responsible for lost or removed bracelets. You will need to purchase a new one.
The Pit Stop Grill "Home of the Pitt Dogg" will be available at each site with Burgers, hot dogs, Taco in the Bag, mac & cheese, Vegetarian Bake Beans, Mac Salad, Sirlion Burgers, Italian Saugages, Peppers/onions, Special Sauce, Meat Sauce, water, sport drinks, candy, pizza and chips available for purchase.

Game Rules:
1. Games are (2) 14-minute, stop time halves (4th-8th grades) / 9th-11th grade games are (2) 16-minute,
stop time halves
2. Team Bonus: One and one is shot on the 10th team foul of the half. Two shots are taking on the 13th
foul of the half.
3. New York State Basketball Rules apply (5) Five Fouls per player before disqualification
4. Team Time Outs: Each team is allowed three timeouts per game.
5. Overtime: Each over time period is 2 minutes stop time in length. 1 time out is granted during each
overtime period.
6. Technical fouls are 2 points and the ball. No foul shots are taken
7. Pressing: You may not press a team across half court up more than 20 points.
8. Running/Stop Time: If a team is down more than 20 points in the second half, the clock becomes
running time
9. The score must be cut to 15 points or less to revert to stop time

4th Grade Division will play with 28.5 Ball
Man to Man Half-court defense allowed only. Pressing is allowed in the last minute of the game
Pressing is not allowed if you are up 10 or more points
5th-6th Grade division: 28.5 basketball only unless both Coaches agree to play with 29.5
Basketball. No pressing allowed after a 15-point lead. / 7th-11th grade 29/5 Basketball only

THERE WILL BE NO BASKETBALLS AT ANY SITE. BRING YOUR OWN

VISTING TEAM WILL NEED TO HAVE CLOCK-KEEPER UNLES UFBA HAS THEM
FORMAT OF TOURNAMENT:
1. In any situation where two teams are tied, head-to-head competition between the teams will determine the
winner
2. If more than two teams tie, a point differential tie breaker will be applied. The point difference between the
involved in the tie are totaled. Teams are then ranked according to the sum of the point difference - with the
highest number placing above the second highest point total and the third point next. NOTE: Te maximum
that one team can beat a team by is 15 points.
3. If two teams are still tied after the application of the format, go back to (1) to break the tie.
4. If more than two teams are still tied after the application of the formula, the point differentials of the
team(s) not involved in the tie are added, and the results recalculated.
5. The score of all forfeits shall be 15-0
6. If there is still a three-way tie, a three-way flip of a coin will determine team placement
Player Roster:
1. UFBA Basketball Tournaments rules limit roster to 12 players and 2 coaches
2. Once an athlete has participated with one team, they are attached to the club in which they participated.
A player may play for two teams in the same program only.
3. A player must have played in one pool game to play in any play-off game.
TEAM TROPHY AND MEDALS WILL BE PRESENTED FOR 1ST PLACE OF THE
DIVISION WINNER
Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated. All coaches, players and spectators will abide by the decision of the referees and/or site managers. Any person ejected from a game (player, coach or spectator) will NOT be allowed back during the tournament. Any player or coach receiving two technical fouls will be ejected from the rest of the tournament. Referee rulings will be final!
Team responsibilities:
Home team (listed first on schedule) will supply a scorekeeper. Guest team (listed second on schedule) will supply a clock keeper.
Each team must have their own warmup balls.
Ref will select game ball.
Home team is listed on the left of the game schedule, sits on the left bench facing the game clock, and wears light color uniform.
Visitor team sits on the right bench facing the game clock, and wears dark color uniform.
1st technical foul assessed to a coach or player, other team is awarded 2 points and receives the ball at point of interruption.
Teams are allowed 5 minutes before a forfeit. A team must have at least 4 players to start a game.
Center Court Clock Table:
Only the clock keeper and (1) score keeper per team allowed at the table.
HOME SCORER IS OFFICIAL SCORE • No additional books or personnel at the table.
A player may play for multiple teams in a particular divisions as long as age appropriate but limited to playing multiple teams in the same division.
