Dear Coaches & Families,

We are thrilled to welcome you to the CT Northstars Boys & Girls May HoopFest! Our goal is to provide an exceptional tournament experience for all athletes, coaches, and spectators.

With nearly three decades of expertise, we ensure that our tournaments are well-organized and feature:
    •    Certified officials
    •    Top-notch facilities
    •    High-level competition
    •    Championship hoodies (up to 10 per team) for winners (players must be present to receive a hoodie)

Important Tournament Information

Roster Submission:
All coach rosters must be submitted by Thursday at 11:59 PM. Failure to submit your roster on time will result in your team being removed from the schedule.

(Please note that you must enter your team roster on the dashboard where you entered your team details. Once this roster is created it is created for all upcoming tournaments) 

Game Rules & Expectations:
    •    Game Format: 16-minute stop-clock halves
    •    Timeouts: 2 per half
    •    Fouls: 5 per player
    Running Clock:
    •    If a team is up by 20+ points in the second half, the clock will run.
    •    If the lead drops below 20 points, the stop clock resumes.

    •    Pressing Rule: No pressing when leading by 25+ points.
    •    Scorekeeping: Each team must provide one person for the scorebook or clock (this does not grant free entry).
    •    Bench Rules: Only rostered players for that team are allowed on the bench. Coaches without a coach’s band will not be permitted.
    •    Entry Policy: Only rostered coaches receive free entry.
    •    Roster & Scoresheet Policy: Players must be on the official roster. Scoresheets will be printed prior to each game, and no additional names can be added after printing. This ensures competitive fairness throughout the weekend.

    •    NO PRESSING ALLOWED IN THE FIRST HALF 

 •    Pressing Rule: No pressing when leading by 25+ points

    •    Game Format: 14:00 Minute Stop Clock

Please Note: Unless a schedule request was submitted during registration, the schedule is final and cannot be changed.

Facility Policies & Parking
    •    No Outside Food or Beverages: Our facility does not allow any outside food or beverages. No admission will be granted to anyone attempting to bring them inside.
    •    Security & Bag Checks: Security will be on-site conducting bag checks upon entry.
    •    Parking:
    •    The facility offers upper and lower parking as a courtesy to spectators.
    •    If the parking lot is full, overflow parking is available at the Mobile gas station and Subway plaza.
    •    If you choose to park elsewhere, we are not responsible if your vehicle is towed.

Sportsmanship & Conduct

We have a zero-tolerance policy for violence and derogatory language. Participation in athletics is a privilege, and we are committed to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all athletes and spectators.

Admission Details
    •    Daily admission: $10 per person
    •    Children under 7: Free
